The goods

What is on the bench

Bench with hide, thread, and an awl

The craft

The mark is the signature of the maker.

Wyrhta is the old word for a wright. The interlocking W is stamped into the hide or burned into the oak. If it is not there, it did not leave this bench.

Enquire

Tell the bench what you need.

A wallet, a box, or something that is neither. Notes stay in the bench book on this machine until there is a proper letterbox.
